
Boosting an existing trend for CMAT and achieving millions of views, inspiring Lola Young & Amelia Dimz to take part organically 📸
Following an organic trend gaining traction on the new release of CMAT's 'Take a Sexy Picture of Me', we got involved to monopolise on this natural take-off! 🚀
The trend is a simple lip-sync and dance routine, which was so easily replicable that we knew our creators would be able to jump on easily, and as soon as they did, we saw creations starting to soar! ✈️
Organic trends give us great data on how we can catapult UGC, as TikTok thrives on creator-generated trends and a sense of community. Using this data to launch a challenge with, enlisting our pool of creators to add a volume of posts to the sound, gains the trend a lot more eyeballs! 👀 This can then snowball UGC into a viral trend!
Our Challenge feature is a wonderful way to flood activated sounds with lots of creative content!
Challenges; influencers get pay-outs at certain view check-points - this is what incentivises creators to only take part in challenges that they truly resonate with and can create great content for! We notice a 30-40% increase in amount of material with challenges due to gamification, which also protects the budget for strong engagement.

The results?
Through a small challenge activation, we managed to achieve 2 million views in 48 hours! This created a surge of UGC on TikTok, taking the UGC from under 2,000 creations when we started working on it, to 13,000 videos and counting! 📈
The spike in UGC caused huge celebrities to take part in the sound - including Lola Young, Amelia Dimz and Liz Gillies - and this organic data is a great indicator that this is a trend to watch for Summer 2025! 👀
