How we achieved no.26 on the TikTok charts after 48 hours with a 40 year-old song
We teamed up with Sony Publishing to test our new feature which detects trending songs and corresponds them with a catalogue of music. This then allows us to proactively spend and amplify songs with momentum.
We selected Sade - Smooth Operator, as it had the most impressive statistics out of the tracks we analysed.
The results?
Over 2 million views!!
We launched this campaign using a combination of our challenge and direct approaches to flood the sound with content using emerging trends.
The song hit no. 26 on the Tik Tok charts 48 hours after we launched!
